Broke my KindleBy Britt
I bought this cover because it is super cute and I love Kate Spade. When I got it for Christmas, I loved it in person and got lots of compliments on it. After a few weeks, my Kindle started having problems turning on. Now my Kindle will not turn on at all. We called Amazon and were informed that the hinges made my Kindle stop working. Sad and weird, but I saw that this happened on another review for a different Kate Spade Kindle cover (Great Gatsby cover). Thankfully the warranty covered my Kindle and I will be receiving a new one in a few days plus Amazon if refunding my purchase. I noticed that the other person who had trouble stated that her Amazon rep advised her to get a cover where you insert the cover rather than hinges. Not sure what I will do yet as I really loved the Kate Spade...

I bought the Kate Spade cover (the red and pink cover) and shortly after began have trouble "waking up" my Kindle. I started reading on the internet about other people who were having trouble and it turns out that the Kate Spade cover shorts out your Kindle. I called Amazon and got a full refund for my cover, and my Kindle works fine as long as it is not in the cover. I would not buy this seeing as you can not use your Kindle when it is in the cover.. explains the price reduction also! The woman on the phone told me that they have been having trouble with the covers; I can not understand why they sell them?

Very nice, bought it for a christmas gift. Very good price considering it is Kate Spade. Receiver loved it, and it really personalized her kindle. Fit inside perfectly. Definitely recommend it!
