Fantastic for its size!By Diane in Milwaukie
I've had several book lights but this one beats them all! Spendy but I thought I'd try it. The thing it, its brighter than all the other popular ones I have tried. I put it up side by side with the most popular bookight that Amazon sells, and this one beats them all, it covers all the way to the bottom of both Kindles I own, the 6" and also the 9" DX. It is super lightweight so it doesnt add to the weight of my readers. It fits very snug, yet is easy to remove. It comes with a USB charger that plugs into my laptop, so I can charge while I'm using my computer. I'm so glad, the battery thing was driving me crazy, and getting expensive replacing those batteries. Falling asleep with it on was costing me money! I highly recommend the Verso Light Wedge, I'm thrilled with it!

I have been looking for a good kindle light for my 2nd generation Kindle since this summer. I did not want one with batteries. I tried to find the kindle case with the built in light but the ones I found were for the latest kindle. This one has a rechargeable battery through a computer via the usb port. An added bonus is that the kindle usb electrical outlet adapter also works with this light so you can charge it through an electrical outlet too. The light is very small strong LED light that covers the kindle from top to bottom. It is a little pricey but well worth it. I am delighted with it.

I thought this item was a *little* overpriced, but it is worth the extra money. It doesn't have much of a glare, it's bright enough to reach the bottom of the page without keeping my significant other awake, and I love that it's rechargeable. It also fits perfectly on my Kindle 3.
The only thing I wish were different about it is that it came with a carrying case or something. It would be nice if it had come in a hard plastic case so that it doesn't get smashed when traveling. I think the price dissuades people from buying it, but in my opinion it's the best light out there for the Kindle.
I've used it, charged it, and used it again without any problems.
